ABB has been present in Egypt since 1926, and has started its investment in 1979. ABB in Egypt now has diverse activities in manufacturing, engineering and services. With its headquarters in Heliopolis; a branch office in Alexandria; five factories in the 10th of Ramadan City occupying an area of 102000 square meters; a free zone factory assembling ABB productions for export; in Al Obour we have a regional engineering center and a machine service workshop; and a regional service center for turbo-systems in Suez free zone, ABB is playing a key role in Egypt’s on-going development.
ABB Egypt's success is based on its loyal, hard-working staff. With a staff of 1600 permanent employees and around 1000 on project basis, we focus on in-house training and on international experience. ABB University Egypt offers training on ABB products, processes and applications for our employees and customers.
